天降大任于斯人也，

意思是:
上天将要把重大使命降落到某人身上，一定要先使他的意志受到磨练，使他的筋骨受到劳累，使他的身体忍饥挨饿，使他备受穷困之苦，做事总是不能順利。这样来震动他的心志，坚韧他的性情，增长他的才能。
其实我认为这是孟子教人要有EQ (情绪智商) ，面对逆境时的态度。我不反对上天真的有安排，但无论如何能用正面处理逆境，过后必定有所得益，对将来再面对困难必定更容易解决，这样的人必定更容易成功做出一番大事。
